Use of service
You may use HTML to Liquid Converter to generate section code for your own Shopify themes and client projects, subject to these terms and applicable laws. You are responsible for how you deploy generated code in production stores.
Tool usage disclaimer
HTML to Liquid Converter is a developer tool — not a substitute for professional theme development, accessibility review, or merchant training. Output is generated algorithmically and may require adjustment for your specific theme, brand guidelines, and storefront requirements. The tool is provided to assist Shopify developers; it does not guarantee error-free or merchant-ready sections without human review.
Generated Liquid and review responsibility
All Liquid, {% schema %} JSON, CSS, and block structures generated by the tool must be reviewed by a qualified developer before deployment. You are solely responsible for verifying setting IDs, block types, accessibility, performance, and theme editor behavior. We do not guarantee that every HTML input produces correct or complete output.
No guarantee for third-party themes
While output follows Online Store 2.0 conventions, we do not guarantee compatibility with every third-party theme — including Dawn, Prestige, Broadcast, Impulse, or custom themes. Theme-specific CSS, JavaScript, typography tokens, and section architecture may require manual adjustment. Test all generated sections in your target theme before shipping to production.
User responsibility for production testing
Before publishing generated sections to a live storefront, you must test in a development or staging environment. Verify responsive behavior, merchant editing workflows, link targets, image handling, and cart/checkout interactions. Merchants should preview changes in the theme editor before publishing.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Abuse the service, attempt to disrupt infrastructure, or bypass usage limits
- Use the tool for unlawful purposes or to generate malicious code
- Scrape, crawl, or automate requests in a way that degrades service for other users
- Submit content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract proprietary algorithms beyond normal use
Intellectual property
You retain ownership of HTML you submit and Liquid output generated for your projects. The HTML to Liquid Converter brand, UI, and tooling remain the property of K2 Devworks.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HTML to Liquid Converter and K2 Devworks are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the tool or generated code — including lost revenue, data loss, theme breakage, or merchant workflow disruption. The tool is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the terms were last revised.
